心系文明，慎独修身

设想：你独自行走在一个没有其他任何行人车辆、完全没必要担心出交通事故的十字路口，刚好红灯亮了，你是停下来等红灯熄灭，还是观察情况后继续前行?

　　在许多发达国家，公民有等红灯的习惯，即使四周空荡荡的，红灯一亮，老百姓都老老实实地等着。或许按照我们中国人的常规思维，这老外确实呆板傻气，对某些人为的规章制度不知灵活地变通。在自己认为合情合理或四周无人的情况下可以违反规定，这似乎成为我们的一种习惯。于是红绿灯常常成为街头的一道华而不实的装饰。

　　追溯历史的源头，我们骄傲，因为我们有丝路花雨、四大发明、贞观之治、康乾盛世??文明的倩影曾与我们的祖先如影随形，“文明古国”、“礼仪之邦”曾是世界授予华夏民族的头衔。

但是，当我们踏着经济腾飞的步伐，尽情享受物质文明带给我们的便利繁华的今天，您可曾留意过国外的公共标语？大部分标语用英文书写，但 “不随地吐痰”“不乱扔垃圾”“便后请立即冲水”等文明告示却用中文书写。许许多多的老外对我们中国人的评价是“脏乱吵不守规则”。面对国人习俗在国际的恶劣影响，我们还能自我陶醉吗？

“达则兼济天下，穷则独善其身。”虽然我们不是太阳，不可能将整个社会照耀，但是我们可以做一只小小的萤火虫，用微光将自身点亮。我们可以努力加强自身的文明修养，严守个人的道德底线，为转变种种不良行为作出点滴贡献。我们的祖先讲究自我修身，提倡“慎独”，意思是在独自一人、无人监督时，要时时处处谨慎自觉地约束自己，不能因为无人知晓就放松自我要求，做出有违道义的事情。例如不能因路上无人就随地吐痰丢垃圾闯红灯。况且，文明的行为举止其实只是由细节构成的。文明是什么呢？文明是清晨问候他人时的那抹祥和的微笑，文明是检起垃圾时的那个美丽的弯腰，文明是面对红灯时温文尔雅的停步，文明是看见老人上车后温情热忱的让座，文明是看到有人破坏环境时善意的提醒，文明是一方有难时热情慷慨的伸手，文明是唇齿间蹦出的那声亲切的“您好、请、谢谢、对不起”??

　　因此，完善自己的文明修养并不是要有什么了不起的举措，只需要我们在举手投足之间时时处处心系文明。只需要我们能管好自己的嘴，不讲粗话，不大声喧哗，不随地吐痰，不在公共场合抽烟；只需要我们能管好自己的手，不乱扔乱丢，不打架斗殴，不把车辆乱停乱靠，不把广告随意张贴，不破坏公共设施；只需要我们能管好自己的脚，不插队拥挤，不闯红灯，不践踏草坪花木?只要我们敢于向不文明行为说“不”，从我做起，从现在做起，从点滴做起。

著名作家梁晓声在中央电视台讲过一段经历：一个美国老太太在左右并没有车辆的情况下，安安静静等红灯，老太太说：“也许，我们身后那栋房子里，会有一个小孩正在看街景。如果他看见我们走过去，以后照我们的样子横穿马路，也许就会出事。”
